MK Plant in grandparents' backyard |
I've learned pretty much from my grandparents on traditional medicine. And among ALL of them, both recommended STRONGLY on Misai Kucing.
At first, I really don't know why my granddad would have at least a teapot of MK(Misai Kucing) Tea a day. Even though they say MK tea excels in preventing Diabetes, I don't believe until I saw this STAR article.

Misai Kucing Tea is basically made from a plant called "Misai Kucing". My grandma and I planted them using natural soil and cows' poo as fertilisers. To kill the worms, we use overnight "rice water" which is REALLY a useful and organic way.
Then, as shown in the pic above, when the plant's flower blooms, it is ready to be harvested and made into TEA! =)
MK Tea is a well-known traditional way to prevent one from diabetes, hypertension, high blood
pressure, gout and stroke, as well as protecting kidneys. This is because it has minerals that help
to relax veins and aiding the flow of waste in the kidneys.
SO! SPREAD THE JOY AND HEAL MORE LIFES! =D

Ways to Drink MK TEA
For a packet, u can divide into half and drink a teapot of the halfed daily. For my family, we usually drink quater of it TOGETHER with normal tea, eg: sunflower tea, jasmine tea. It's aroma is simply delicate. My grandma started planting Misai Kucing when she herself finds that MK tea has a pretty great effect on herself.
